Session Fees
The session fee is established by each therapist but typically runs $160 for a 50-minute individual session. If there are any financial barriers to accessing any of our services we can discuss options during the free consultation or via e-mail inquiry. Sliding scales are offered primarily to the global majority (racialized people(s), 2SLGBTQIA+).
Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services can be covered in full or in part. Most extended health care benefits cover therapy or counselling services by a Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Occupational Therapist (OT). Some insurance providers may require additional information which can be acquired via e-mail inquiry. Coaching services are rarely covered under benefit plans but can be included under health spending accounts.
Payment
We accept e-transfers and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. For cancellations less than 24 hours, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
Getting To Your In-Person Appointment
We are located at 609 William St, London, Ontario, N6B 3G1. You will see a front door (not us) and a right-side door (us). This is a multi-unit building and we occupy the whole basement. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first appointment to ensure you find parking, find the building and can get situated.
For those driving, we have free parking. Access to the parking lot is just off of Central. You'll see a fence with a one way sign. Take that to the back and you can park along the back fence. Please do not park in front of the other apartment building. Should all parking be taken, street parking is free in most places around our building.
The person you booked your appointment with will meet you at the door just prior to your first appointment. Returning individuals will be provided with a door code for all future appointments.
Are you a Tarot Reader? Sound Healer? Medium? Witch-Doctor? Shaman? Sangomas? Etc.?
We are a collective of registered therapists who are familiar with various spiritual tools and practices that are commonly used by those who identify with alternative spiritualities. We state the use of spiritual tools and practices on our website as information for you, the service recipient, so that you are are aware that it is indeed a safe space for you to express your full spiritual selves with knowledge that we will understand what you are saying.
If you, the service receipient, would like to incorporate any of the spiritual activities mentioned on our website during a session (because you use it as a coping strategies, because it helps you with grounding or you find it useful for introspection) you are welcome to do so (so long as it is a safe activity and doesn't go against any of our regulatory college's requirements).
We wouldn’t stop a service recipient from figeting in session when they informed us that it helps their nerves, just like we wouldn’t stop you from using a sound bowl to calm yourself. We also wouldn’t deny an Indigenous person the right to smudge, just like we wouldn’t stop you from invoking spirits for guidance and protection.
That said, some individuals at our practice are professional astrologers, tarot readers, mediums, sound healers, reiki masters etc. and do offer these services. For clarity, we’ve clearly marked all psychotherapy services as such.
Therefore, if you are looking for psychotherapy, you’ll see it clearly marked and if you are looking for alternative healing modalities, you’ll see those are not listed as psychotherapy.
