Join Aisha Husseini to connect with positive emotions through art. How do we be with what is good? How do you experience being with feelings of joy, pride, peacefulness, power, playfulness, hopefulness, gratitude, curiosity, or inspiration? Does it feel like there isn’t much space? Would you like to carve out space for creating art about what is good together? Being with the good in a world full of injustice that is loud, demands that our creativity is LOUDER!!! Making art in community is an act of rebellion and resistance in a world that values our productivity over our creativity. I want to remind you that the good exists, it is all around us and it deserves our presence too. These sessions will utilize art making and creativity to support adults (18+) who are looking to connect with “the good” in a society that favours “the bad”.
