I’m really good at seeing patterns. Maybe every job starts well and ends with burnout. Maybe you keep dating different versions of the same person. Maybe every conflict leaves you feeling like you have to explain yourself, fix everything, or disappear. I help you find the common thread so we can understand what keeps recreating the same outcome.
I treat therapy like a collaborative investigation. We look at the problem together, compare evidence, test ideas, and try to figure out what’s actually going on. Think less “I diagnose you from across the room” and more “we’re partners in a CSI episode about your life.”
I remember details. Something you mentioned in passing six sessions ago may turn out to be the missing piece in what we’re talking about today. I can hold a lot of your story in mind at once, which helps me notice connections that are hard to see when you’re living inside them.
I’m a systems thinker. I don’t look at problems in isolation. I help you understand how your history, nervous system, relationships, environment, and current circumstances are interacting—and where changing one part of the system might shift everything else.
I focus on roots, not leaves. I’m more interested in what’s creating a problem than simply managing its symptoms. If you keep procrastinating, exploding, shutting down, people-pleasing, choosing unavailable partners, or abandoning things that matter to you, I want to understand why that response makes sense—and what would need to change for a different outcome to become possible.
You’ll test what you discover in real life. Insight can only take us so far before reality has to clap back. We might come up with a hypothesis about a pattern, try something different during the week, and come back to see what happened.
I don’t want you to need me forever. The goal is for you to get better at catching patterns while they’re happening, tolerating uncertainty, separating anxiety from intuition, and making decisions you trust.
I want to know who you are at your best. I help you identify your strengths, natural ways of thinking, and the environments where you function well—not just your difficulties. Sometimes the “problem” is partly a mismatch between who you are and what your life is asking you to be.
Sometimes the problem you arrive with is the problem. Other times, it’s the doorway.
How Do I Work?
Astrology
I believe astrology is a compass we can refer to during times of change or instability to orient ourselves and better understand what a moment is asking. Your birth chart can help identify your natural strengths, the challenges that may arise as you develop them, and give you a better understanding of the direction your life keeps trying to move toward.
Depth Oriented Therapy
Depth-oriented therapy gives us a shared language for experiences that can be difficult to explain directly. By exploring archetypes, dreams, myths, fantasies, synchronicities, and shadow material, we can better understand the parts of you that may be operating outside your conscious awareness.
Tarot
Where astrology gives us the big picture, tarot can help us explore day-to-day situations. I use it as a mirror rather than a predictive tool: a way to create enough distance from a situation to see it more clearly, notice patterns, consider perspectives you may have missed, and hear your own intuition.
Existential Therapy
Existential therapy explores some of the fundamental questions and anxieties we all face:navigating major life transitions, confronting uncertainty and mortality, and trying to create meaning in a chaotic world. Maybe you feel persistently numb despite checking every box of “success,” or you’re paralyzed by the pressure and responsibility of making a major decision. Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual, but we can learn to tolerate uncertainty, trust ourselves, and make choices without needing absolute certainty first.
Psychodynamic Therapy
The past is not destiny, but it does give us a template. Psychodynamic therapy looks at how early experiences and relationships shape the unconscious expectations, defenses, beliefs, and patterns you carry into the present. Once we uncover these hidden templates, you gain more freedom to choose how you want to participate instead of automatically reacting.
Systems Therapy
Often, we’re focused on trying to change ourselves so we can function better in our environment. Sometimes that’s helpful. But it’s also important to recognize the limits of the systems we’re part of—whether that’s a family, workplace, relationship, community, or culture. A systems lens recognizes that nothing happens in isolation and helps us figure out where change actually needs to happen: within you, within a relationship, or within the system itself.
When a pattern becomes visible, we enter into conscious relationship with it. Then choice becomes possible.
My Philosophy & Qualifications
Nature moves in cycles, so why should healing be any different? I don’t believe therapy should follow a neat, linear schedule. Sometimes insight arrives quickly and change follows. Other times, we have to repeat the same experience several more times before we can finally see it clearly. I work with cycles, timing, and emergence—the idea that meaningful change often happens when the conditions are right, not simply because we decide it should. Therapy can help create those conditions, but it can also help us develop the tolerance needed to trust the process when it feels like nothing is happening. Often, the internal shift comes first, and the external evidence catches up later.

Though we can hurt, we can heal; though each one of us can be destroyed, within us is the power of renewal.
