July 2026 Newsletter: New Moon in Cancer
Hi friends!
My name is Cassandra, owner of Ritualhaus Healing, and it’s a pleasure to meet you if we haven’t already! It’s been a privilege to find a little piece of home at The Witch’s Therapist, and it’s my hope that you will too. At TWT, I offer healing in the realm that exists somewhere between the body, your spiritual practise and emotional integration. Certified in Deep Tissue and Aromatherapy Massage, Level 1 and 2 Reiki and The School of Hard Knocks, I like to work together to tailor our sessions to your needs. Be that a massage, tarot reading, channeling, breath work, a guided journey, nervous system reset, gossip, a laugh, a safe space to unload your trauma, friends, etc.
I’m here for it all.
Introspective and emotionally nourishing, this New Moon in Cancer invites us to turn inward and reflect on the areas of our lives that need our attention. Where are you craving more? More joy, more connection, more ease, more presence? What parts of yourself are asking to be nurtured?
One of my favourite topics (and also one of my biggest challenges, both in therapy and in my spiritual practice) is integration.
In therapy, we spend a lot of time noticing how our bodies respond to to stimulus in our lives. We get curious, make connections, and begin to understand where our patterns come from. We build awareness, develop tools, and learn new ways of responding.
But knowing isn't the same as living.
Even with insight and practical tools, many of us struggle to weave what we've learned into our everyday lives. That's the real work. That's integration.
Lately, I've been spending time with this question: How do I actually live what I'm learning? The answer I've kept coming back to is joy.
I've discovered that intentionally making space for joyful experiences creates opportunities for integration. It's in the moments when I feel fully present, connected, and alive that the lessons begin to take root.
And what better time than summer, when the sun is high and the air is warm?
This season, joy looks like hammock afternoons, time by the water, bare feet in the grass, my face turned toward the sun, live music, and wandering through food festivals. It's saying yes to experiences that nourish me.
What brings you joy this time of year?
Sometimes we become so focused on doing the work the right way that we unintentionally stop ourselves from moving forward. We get caught up in the details instead of simply living.Maybe the invitation is to lean in. To say yes or better yet, HELL YES.
Notice when fear or hesitation shows up. Notice the stories it tells you. That noticing is part of the work.
My fear has done an incredible job of keeping me safe. I'm grateful for that. But I'm also ready to take a few more risks. I'm ready to open the gate, receive what's waiting for me, and let joy pour in.
I hope you'll join me.
We deserve it.
